The warmth you bring
Like summer
Like spring,
So much splendour
So much goodness!
I like
That I’ve grown into you
As much as you’ve grown into me,
I like,
That I know
What you’ll say,
Before you do
And how you’ll
React,
Laugh, scoff
And all the borrowed words,
Gestures,
Hobbies,
Laughters
And time.
And mostly,
I love that you’ve loved me
Even the times I was unlovable,
Pumpkin
My life
A joyful ride,
It has been mostly beautiful.
The world,
It has been kind,
The people
They’ve been incredible.
Well,
Mostly human
That’s what
We hope for these days
The gods
They looked down
And smiled when I was born.
I want you to grow,
To progress,
And mostly win.
Then,
I want you
To teach me how to love the new you.
Every coming year,
You’re everything
To me
